Hawthorne develops children by providing physical education courses, safe playground facilities, healthy meals in our cafeteria, and athletics for our 6th to 12th grade students.
HCA participates in volleyball, basketball, golf, and cheerleading.
Hawthorne competes against other Christian schools in the region to teach them the values of teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.
Hawthorne competes in the SC Association of Christian Schools Athletic Conference. Our athletic program has seen tremendous success in recent years with several of our graduates competing in collegiate sports.

awthorne begins preparing students academically as young as infants. By the time our students are in our four year old program, they learn their letters, numbers, phonics, basic reading, and cursive writing.
This emphasis continues through the 12th grade with a goal of preparing students for a successful transition to college. In the last five years we have had 100% of our Seniors accepted into colleges and universities both public and private.
HCA has caring, qualified faculty that have bachelor degrees in their teaching field. All of our faculty are Christians who are active in their local churches.
